I am an IT Professional with a broad experience in most of the IT domains. I started in a support environment, moved into development, grew into database management and analysis. In a later stage I had the opportunity to manage an operational team and as such became interested in systems management. Having touched all these domains, I am now recognized in my current job at SWIFT as a Technical Architect.
Next to my day-to-day job I am interested in Technology, Innovation and Startup scene.
On this page I want to share my experience and interests which are outside of my assignments at my employer.

Yammer Reports (past project)
Within the company I work we started using Yammer as a Social Platform. The platform was selected by the User community but we had no usage statistics.
I created a data collection service which retrieved all messages and their metadata from the Yammer network and stored it in a relational database. Using PHP, MySQL, Google Charts and JavaScript InfoVis Toolkit, I created a reporting dashboard and a social graph on top of the collected data.

Mobile Token - sponsored by Innovation budget from SWIFT (past project)
SWIFT relies heavily on hardware USB tokens to secure data, which constraints the use of the SWIFT applications to PCs.
In 2011, I proposed, together with a colleague, to create a hardware token which could be used on mobile devices by connecting to the audio jack. We created a working prototype of such a token and demonstrated signing a transaction on an iPad to the Manangement.
I think the potential of such a token is huge, considering that it allows creating a mobile vendor independent platform which could be used for Homebanking, eWallet, Encrypted Email Services...
